Le Conservateur Corporate Foundation has been a partner of the Sala Baï school since June 2023 and has fully covered the costs of training one pupil for one academic year.
Through its Corporate Foundation, Le Conservateur Group has been committed since 2009 to embodying its mutualist values by supporting all forms of solidarity between people. The Le Conservateur Corporate Foundation is particularly committed to supporting associations that promote social integration through educational, cultural and sporting activities.
Every year, the Le Conservateur Group holds a working seminar for all its Regional General Insurance Agents and members of its Management. In March 2023, this seminar was held in Cambodia.
During this seminar, Le Conservateur had the opportunity to discover an inspiring project in line with the values of its Foundation.
The seminar participants took part in a dinner organised especially for them at the Sala Baï hotel school. They also had the opportunity to visit the school and talk to the students and staff. They were impressed by this fine, well-run school and its enthusiastic students, who are keen to show off their professional skills to the best of their abilities.
All the participants, General Insurance Agents and members of Le Conservateur Group management, greatly appreciated these moments of sharing, which enabled them to realize that without the training provided at Sala Baï, the students they met would not have been able to escape poverty, obtain a diploma and enter working life.
In June 2023, following the seminar, the Le Conservateur Corporate Foundation decided to support Agir pour le Cambodge by funding the training of a student from the Sala Baï hotel school for the following academic year.
An application for the same type of support (funding a student’s education for one academic year) will be studied by the Le Conservateur Corporate Foundation’s Project Selection Committee at its meeting in September 2024, and if selected, will then be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.
